Ordered online as store didn't have items in stock. Checked again 3 days later and items were in stock so purchased and then tried to cancel order.

Told to cancel via email - which did, and then response back didn't indicate anything canceled.

Tried to cancel online - order is not visible ANYWHERE online and no way to cancel the order.

Tried to cancel via phone - only connects 1 out of 20 dials and once connected be ready to wait in the Que at least 20 minutes. Once answered had to be transferred to another department, and if the transfer wasn't disconnected be ready to wait at least 40 more minutes. Once answered there was told that they can't cancel the order until it has been shipped (yeah, really) and to call back once the email sent to confirm shipping. Called back and after 35 dials, 2 times being disconnected and over 3 hours on hold was finally able to get the order cancelled and told to wait 7-14 days for refund to show.

In the end over 10 hours to simply cancel an order - before it was shipped. Should have taken 3 or 4 mouse clicks.

NEVER EVER EVER ORDER ONLINE with IKEA

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $350.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
