Update: I contacted customer service and to my surprise they were very responsive. We rescheduled delivery and install of broken elements.

Unfortunately Urban Express continued to miss delivery times and assembly. IKEA would make commitments and Urban Express would not meet them. The customer service agents were very effective at pushing Urban Express and ultimately the products were assembled to my satisfaction but it was extremely painful. I did get a credit for the delivery charges but would never do business there again.

I believe their are other cost effective alternatives. Shop around.

Here are my issues:

No help in the store

Delivery and install confirmed for same day

No day before confirmation call

Assembly not provided as promised on same day

Delivery 2 hours late

Assembly 1.5 hours late and took 6 hours for bed and book shelf

This company makes promises they do not keep...

Never again bargain after all. You pay for what you get. Cheap furniture that looks good in the show room. You can do better with a local retailer that provides full service. Don't fall for their sleek look. There is nothing under the covers. A real swedish Meatball.

Monetary Loss: $1500.
