We spent over $700 at Ikea and one of our purchases was a small dresser. When we opened the box it came with so many parts it was comical until we tried to put it together.

About half way through a piece of the junky particle board broke. We tried to return it- I had my receipt, my ID and my Credit Card. The customer service rep wouldn't even look at them. She just said we had screwed up so we were out of luck.

Although she was in returns she claimed she did not have the authority to return my money. She offered to go in the back to see if she could find the part. I just left the broken dresser there and will never shop there again. I am out $100 but they are out what was a loyal customer who raved about them.

Now they have someone who wants to complain to anyone who will listen. I am pissed off!
