IKEA Odda wardrobe stinks

Bought this 9 months ago and there is still a nasty toxic smell to it when opened. Underscores how this stuff is being manufactured cheaply - thought it would wear off, but it hasn't.
This thing took forever to put together and now smells up the room its in. I'm going to have to dismantle it and discard it...it's too huge for someone to haul away in a pickup.
Warning: do not buy IKEA Odda. I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't extend to other furniture since its all mass produced in China, ugh ugh!
Monetary Loss: $200.

Similar experience here in Slovenia. I was happy to buy comode closet (named Malmo) from IKEA in Austria.
It is 100 km from my home. The comode stinked. I placed it to balkony for several months and it still stinked. Only after a year it was almost normal.
Beside bad small it is also peace of crapy furniture. Now it barely stands. Maybe because I had it outdor under the roof for several months. Anyway now I stay away from IKEA products.
Another stroy.
Me and my mom were looking to rent flet. We tested one with full of new IKEA furniture for a night. We both have hadached in the morning from chemical smell there so we didn't take the flat.
From then on we stayed away from flets with new IKEA furniture. Unfortunately so many renovated flets have new IKEA furniture that IKEA is really destroying rental market here in Slovenia despite the closest store is in Austria - Klagenfurt.
Just wanted to say that IKEA's stuff is not all massed produced in China and you're kind of an *** for saying so. Do some research before you spout off.
Where's the research you speak of? A good amount is mass produced in China so you're kind of an #&$^ for not providing links. :zzz
