purchased kitchen cupboards from Ikea and from day one they were not stock the door for one of the cabinets, I purhcased these back in Oct. and anm now just getting around to installing but have not been able to secure one of these cabinet doors, they tell you to check stock on line

and you are the one who spends the money and chasing them for a part, I am not impressed, even had my daughter check at another store 60 miles away from us, did I mentin we are 35 miles from the nearest store and went there on Sunday past because they told us the door was in stock, got there and nothing. so be careful when you purchase from Ikea get the parts first, o one of the doors was incorrect also right number wrong door, had to return that as well, guess Ikea doesn,t really care they are making money and the amount of complaints doesn,t bother them but sooner or later it will catch them

My wife and I purchased an Ikea kitchen with appliances and cabinets back in 2009. It has been a nightmare ever since.

Almost every appliance has broken down because the contractor Ikea recommended, Birch Associates, did an improper job of installing them. The contractor has not responded to our complaints, and when I've called Ikea customer service they have been very nonresponsive and unhelpful as well. This past week my oven broke down and the repair guy said it was -- again-- due to improper installation by the Ikea contractor. Worse, it was not done to code and could have been really dangerous for us.

And there are many other problems-- the cabinets have started breaking down after just two years, and the countertops are scratched and look terrible. I am never buying anything from Ikea again.
