I've never had an issue with Ikea because i think they have good variety and the quality, while not great, is equivalent to its lower price range.

I bought a whole bunch of things and agreed it to be home delivered on a certain day since any other earlier date wasn't possible. When I received the paper service order copy, the service date was two days later (which would be too late since I would be really busy already). We corrected the IKEA worker who handled our order and she changed the mistake and said it would be changed in the system as well.

However on the day of delivery, I didn't receive any news about it from 9am-1pm (which was the agreed time of delivery). After calling numerous times and being put on hold (since the line was always busy as usual), I finally managed to get the delivery company's number instead. THEN, they tell me that it was scheduled to be delivered two days later..... meaning, that lady never changed the date order in their database. I complained to IKEA's online chat and all they can tell me is 'you have to go to the store to talk to them about this, but either way, it won't be able to be delivered today. sorry for the inconvenience caused'. They can't even redirect me to a phone number that I can actually even GET through - so what am I supposed to do now?

Inefficiency usually doesn't bug me to the extent of submitting a complaint, but this is just ridiculous. AND i paid about $300 for delivery and assembly. Seriously, don't waste your money.

Please don't count on the home service here. After missing two days of work, several weeks apart, the delivery never made it.

I said i'd borrow a truck and go pick it up at the store only to find out that my stuff was at the delivery warehouse. After calls and actually a letter, never a calll back.

I REALLY think that this is the worst experience with a retailer i have ever had. they truly dont give a s.
