I scheduled a date for shipping, and when the item did not arrive on the day scheduled I called the delivery service - turns out Ikea had cancelled the order since 30 days had passed (even though I had taken the earliest delivery date offered to me), refunding only the item price, not the delivery price. After many hours with senior customer service they agreed to reship the item without charging delivery, and I was to call back the individual with my credit card info.
I called her extension 5 minutes later and got voicemail, but no callback. Called again an hour later, and a few hours later again. Called again the next day. Called a week later.
Nothing. Finally was able to be transferred to her through another customer service agent, but she denied knowing anything about my case and would not waive the fee to redeliver the item.
