Ikea - Impossible to communicate with.

Details
Phone system routinely hangs up mid-call. The Byzantine automated series of prompts results in a "transferring you to our customer service team," followed by "we did not receive your selection within the time allowed" and a hangup. Web site is similarly wonky. I will never purchase from these people again.

Ikea - Customer service has quit answering the phone!

I bought a bed in three parts and had to return one part for a refund. (The laminated slats made my wife sick) and when I called they said no problem, "We will send a shipping label to return the slats and refund your $30.) Lovely Scandinavian efficiency. Or not. After two weeks and no label I called Customer Service only to find it was "too busy" to answer the phone. I tried every week at different times of day/week for a month, same answer, and then gave up. Customer Service has shut down?!

Pittsburgh store isTerrible; worse than Walmart. At least you can self check out at Walmart. Only 1 cashier, line miles long. Wait to return an item is no better. Tricky price placements. Unable to contact customer service or corporate.

Ikea in North Vancouver, British Columbia - Sale on closets, catch no doors

I have been attempting to spend 6000 on new closets for a clients boutique hotel. Been at it for 5 days. Get clients approval on doors, go to check out. Find at this point doors selected not available. Get approval on a different door style go to check out, doors not available. Tried all doors all not available!!!! And this is their wardrobe event!? Tried customer service. Was given the most pat answers. Never again IKEA. You have wasted my time for the last time. Should have been a one hour order turned into a 5 day nightmare. Good riddance. BP

IKEA kitchen —- DON’T

Multiple visits . Added cost then did not order multiple parts and then didn’t know how to send them after they had delivered the rest of the kitchen. Total ignorance . That toll free number is a waste of time and I mean long waits or being hung up on. In store no better. There is no admission of error and no “make by it right” by this company . This is a disorganized rabble.
