I had to go to the refund desk and the dead flies would have fallen off that employee, she moved ever so slow and it was such a chore for her to deal with me. Oh, their credit card scanners don't work well at all, either. I think I'm done with this place, I really do. The store was full of parents with sick kids coughing and sneezing all over, not covering their faces. Oh, what fun it was! Time to re-think IKEA...

Came to buy some things... stopped to eat lunch with my son.. the cashier overcharged me for a cake.. when i told her.. it took long.. my son was eating by himself and then i told the manager to just give me another kids meal for the same price.. she said she just couldn't... customer service is clearly not a priority.. i wasted more time getting a few dollars refunded versus just giving me another plate of chicken and fries.. what a waste of time.

Ikea - Horrible customer service

Today me and my wife shopping at ikea,when we done for shopping,go to check out ,have one item ring out not match price on sticker,than i ask for return,cashier start get mad on me ,she throw that item i ask to return to next cashier line ,act very angry,i ask her ,what i did wrong,she just tell me to go next cashier to cash out ,she doen't want do check out for me ,by that time she almost finish my all item i want to buy,then move to next line to check out ,i have start over again.i ask to see manager .when i see manager, he do the same ,he's not try to find out what happen,just move me to next line for check out ,he's not professional,he's not care customer,he should not in that position.

Ikea in Al Aziziyah, Makkah - Prices in the catalog are different from those in the store

I have chosen a LAGAN faucet (catalog number 100.850.27)from IKEA calalog, which stated that its price was 69 SR. When I went to buy it from IKEA- Jeddah, the cashier asked for 99 SR. We had to argue with him for over an hour, until at last we got the difference. Would you please work on revising the prices in the catalog and make sure it is the same as in prices in IKEA stores everywhere? On another occasion, the salesman was quite rude in answering our inquiries. This is a new attitude that we have never experienced at IKEA stores before...what is going on?!

Ikea in Ad Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah Province - Grocery shop is more professional

I went yesterday to IKEA in Riyadh Saudi Arabia looking for a bed and a closet. after like 3 hours of searching and standing in a long line to pay the cashier I went right away to receive my stuff. it took them like 1 hour to call my name and suddenly!!!! my items are not available and out of stock!!!!!!! imagine I was not the only one and yet the customer service manager was extremely rude and saying (what shall I do) go complain and refund back your money. however I waited till 1 AM along with other frustrated customers who started tweeting against this bad service and AGAIN suddenly they manager came out and said sorry system is down. COME NEXT DAY AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!! *** SERVICE. I know that no one will care about my complain but I will never stop tweeting and blogging against this idiots driven company it seems that

The first rule of fiction writing is write believable characters doing believable things. None of this is even remotely believable.

Whoever wrote this knows nothing about retail to the point where I don't think they have ever shopped in a store in America before. Don't coddle this liar. I believe they are just trying to get attention by saying the word discrimination over and over. Hey, writer, you forgot the part where the Nazi parade came through and tramped the flag of your homeland.

What?

Ikea in Union, New Jersey - Watch your change

We stopped for food in the cafeteria. Pulled out a 20. When I got back change for a 10 I corrected the cashier, who had stuffed the bill into the drawer before making change. She continued to check people out and make change, instead of immediately calling a manager. Waited for a LONG time. Surprise, when they counted the draw it was correct. This was not a situation where I could have been mistaken, or I would have walked awat. I also had two other people with me. Needless to say it hasn't improved my impression of Ikea customer service.

Ikea in Smyrna, Georgia - Wasting my time

I waited in line to check out for 20 minutes. Instead of ringing my items in individually or counting them, the cashier looked at the items pretty quickly and pressed the number for how many she thought I had. She totaled my order and gave me the receipt and when I saw the number was incorrect I told her she charged me for the wrong number of items. Instead of fixing it, she told me to wait at customer service: where 20 other people were now ahead of me!!! It took me another hour to get my receipt fixed and charged the correct amount. It was a huge waste of time. And by the way, I had my baby with me, so needless to say it was extremely inconvenient to be waiting that long in their store. The service was way worse then I am describing, regarding my interactions with the cashiers and customer service, but you get my point. The cashiers need to be trained and able to do their job correctly and fix their mistakes if they make one.
