Bought a wardrobe, paid for deliver and assembly. The assembly guy found some items damaged when he opened the boxes. Now the irritating part starts...

--- i called customer service and had to wait 1 hour to speak to someone

--- i am told it will take a week for someone to follow-up with me

--- i was advised to go back to the store if i needed faster service, otherwise i will have to wait longer for this to be resolved!!!

a pregnant woman trying to get things organized does not need this stress. So i have to live in the midst of boxes and incompleted pieces of the assembly for however long... i am at their mercy

totally pissed

customer, brampton ontario canada

Interesting. I had a few things delivered from the IKEA store in Portland, Oregon. The rug I ordered was damaged by the truck dolly - oil stain. Soooo after numerous phone calls and emails and a revisit to the store I'm still without my rug.

What's interesting is I've done a fast web check and have discovered that there are very few people happy with IKEA's customer service.

Wonder how long they'll be able to get away with their special brand of complacency.
