UPDATE: Still say don\'t use them. Got £100 gift card from IKEA for the trouble!!!!

Do they really think I\'ll buy anything else from them - no way.

I gave it to a family member who wanted some bed linen. As for the installation company - they pass the buck...

My experience with both Ikea and DTW was absolutely spot on. I expected a few issues along the way but I simply couldn't fault them, their team, the communication, the workmanship.

I could go on and on. The fitters were absolute Pro's in every way.

We've been shopping at IKEA for over 12 years and this was the last trip we will ever make. The sheets we purchased were defected-- 1/3 too short to fit IKEA brand mattress. Since IKEA has a very difficult return policy and we live 3 hours away, we are not able...

IKEA: Labels on glass candles? Really?

I usually love IKEA. I have to set aside a chunk of time to go, as the closest one is 45 mins away, and we all know how much time can be spent once inside the store. HOWEVER. Why, IKEA, why put big sticky labels on glass candles??? How ridiculous is that? It took me longer to get the label off than it did to put together the coffee table on which I will place these candles. By the time I was finished, I wanted to hurl the candle through the window, rather than use it to decorate my house. Annoyed and irritated.

Ikea deceitful business practices

After spending hours at the showroom, you grab a cart and head to the warehouse only to learn that the items you selected are not available and were discontinued. Not only they do not post that information on their web page, the floor attendants are either not aware that the merchandise has been discontinued or are not willing to help. Customer service in their stores is very poor. They have a restaurant with good food and I can see why. Since you waste an incredible amount of time at their store, walking around, lifting heavy merchandise at the warehouse, etc.,etc. they know you will need to feed your family at some point. Think it twice before going to their stores. The savings are not worth the aggravation, and besides the merchandise is poor quality

IKEA - socialist concept of shopping

1st time at IKEA - the stores are arranged as a maze to force the shopper to see every item in the store. The carts are available only at the entrance, and at the exit - tough luck if you need more space. The staff often times will move your cart if in the isle. I even had my cart UNLOADED by the staff while I was searching for the storage containers for a shelf system halfway back through the maze they call a showroom. Also, watch out for items being on the the wrong shelves - especially in the self-serve furniture department. Frankly, I will never go back to ikea again. If you have the entire day to waste while being herded like mindless cows through their showroom maze, fine. But if you have chores to do, and need to find an item quickly and get on with your day, forget it! Their concept is to herd you through a maze of theme rooms whilst enticing you to impulse shop, then further drug you with cafe food, and confound you with misleading signage, all in the hopes you'll spend more of your hard-earned dollars there. This has got to be the perfect example of the European socialist consumer ideal - numb them until they give us all of their money!

More posts by IKEA management. I used to work for you **** heads.

You view customers as nothing more than another victim to abuse and take their money. All of IKEA's products suck and you know it. Your products are all compressed sawdust wrapped in plastic. IKEA has a team of people that comment on complaint boards trying to protect IKEA's *** reputation.

Do not purchase IKEA's cheap compressed sawdust products. The stuff is ****.

The Swedish word "IKEA" translated means BEND OVER and that's what you do when you shop there. IKEA SUCKS :(

Yeah you are kind of an ***. Everyone knows that after a while when you shop there more often, you find all their short cuts to other departments.

So when you are in a hurry you can just go right on down into the market hall and grab your stuff without walking around upstairs first.

BTW, I agree with Skippy, you have no clue what socialism is let alone socialist ideals.

You're a special one. Do you even know what Socialism is?

You've probably got one of those Three Wolves Howling at the Moon t-shirts on.

Theme parks also use the loop system to convey people through all the attractions. You probably don't have a problem with them because they serve Bud Light every two rides to keep you numb as you give them all your money.

When will I learn? NEVER EVER use Ikea's delivery service.

Many years back it took over a month to get the furniture that I ordered. Now, after all of this time they have the audacity to give me a 4 hour time frame and then not show up. It's pathetic! Do yourself a favor and rent a small truck or trailer and pick your items up yourself.

Delivery is just not worth the frustration.

How many people even have a 4 hour time frame within the day when they have nothing to do but wait around for a delivery? Then it doesn't arrive and they expect you to do it again!

there's gotta be a max load warning somewhere on one of those things. looks like you have a 21" or 24" imac - as much as i love the look of glass, i'd never place one of those aluminum monsters on a piece of glass that looks like it's half an inch thick. looks like a combination of *** product and bad judgement on your part.

IKEA Houston, TX (Katy Freeway)

1.) Ikea is not even a Better Business Bureau company. Well they do have a rating and it is an F. 2.) Ikea's website inaccurately displays incorrect stock levels that they actually have in their store. Once I arrived at the Houston, TX store the manager Kim had told me that their website is completely off. Their system was off by 29 TV stands. What I mean is that on my IPhone their store (Houston) shows that they have 29 of the specific TV stand I was looking for. The manger Kim, said that they are off by 29 and they cannot accurately keep track of their products. Why can companies like Target figure this out? Horrible customer service as well as she would not help us figure out a resolution. "There is nothing I can do for you." "Come back tomorrow." What a scam.
