Ingolf white junior high chair; I successfully installed this little piece of ___. But got to tell you, this is one the worst designs ever after paying 50 dollars. I can use every bad word in the world against the designers. They deserve a severe punishment of community service for one whole year because of selling this item.

I visited IKEA which is an hour from my home. I purchased over $300.00 worth of items. During the time of my purchase I presented a coupon that was $20.00 off if you purchased over $150.00 in items. I didn't realize till later that the coupon was never scanned in or taken off my purchase. So I called IKEA, I was transferred to 4 different people and I was on hold for a total of 105 minutes! To ask for resending the missing part, I called 3 times within 1 day and each time I waited for over 1 hour. IKEA customer service claimed that only the after sales department can resolve this issue and recommended me discussing a compensation regarding me time being wasted. Ikea PR is the worst! Especially the one in Carolina. The employees are some of the rudest and most disrespectful people I've ever encountered. They'll talk and joke amongst themselves, look at their phones for long periods of time and flirt with each other all the while ignoring the customers as if they weren't there when there are clearly customers waiting in line to place orders or pick up merchandise. A few months ago I purchased kitchen cabinets for use in remodeling a home. The cabinets have some nice features and reflect the price you pay for them. Since I live a great distance from an ikea store I purchased cabinets for several different uses in the house (not in the kitchen, didn't care for quality). Unless you have good carpentry skills these cabinets are not easy to put together. Overall the cabinets will work for their intended use.... Read more

Delivery delayed day after day and no one calls / communicates to let us know. Hours and hours on the phone until we are able to reach customer service and then they say expect delivery tomorrow and at the same time no apology given neither over the phone or otherwise. I have placed a scheduled delivery order from Ikea Online store and they sent me an email mentioning that the order will be delivered on another day. And when I call the customer service after keeping me on hold for more than an hour a representative mentions that they cannot change the delivery date that they mentioned in the email. We installed two of these mirror vanities in our master bathroom, exactly 1 year later the light on one started flickering when the cabinet door was opened, and soon stopped turning on completely. The problem seems to be due to a wire connecting the light that crimped when the door was closed; the wire casing has split at that location. I placed an on-line order today for furniture with Ikea. About an hour after the purchase I changed my mind and tried to cancel the transaction. I COULD NOT DO IT. They wouldn't allow it. There is no option on-line to cancel. The only way is to call their 888 phone line and go insane while you listen to their recorded sales pitch and earthy crunchy PSA's on loop for hours (kill me now!).
