I ordered two armchairs online. I received an initial message to confirm the order, and after that NOTHING anymore. So I logged into "my" IKEA online account just to discover that there is no such thing. Ikea's website is the worst in the world. They do not have a "My orders history" or "Orders status" link. This was queen size bed frame that was ordered for Christmas & I got on Dec 17. I was told no one needed to be present & that Fedex will carefully place in my covered carport. Drove to ikea (Centennial) last night for a countertop. Same girl who 'tried' to help us design a kitchen (sadly she knew less than we did) was the only one avail to help us. We showed her the silver countertop we wanted, but once again she ordered the wrong part number. 1-1/2 hours later, we open the ctn and see white with silver band. The clocks on the double oven lose at least 10 min per week. 1st time they came and assessed and made another appt to fix. 2 hrs into the 4 hr window they called and said the Co. that was to come out didn't fix clocks so rescheduled. 2nd X someone came & replaced a part. I purchased a duvet and cover. Both in king size, Linnbloma style. The duvet is too large for the cover and folds over at the top inside the cover. Then it's too short in width and the cover material awkwardly hangs empty on one side . The enclosure for the cover does not stay closed and the over-sized duvet comes out constantly. Absolutely worst customer service! I tried to order replacement parts , but "customer service" (what a joke) said "you can only visit the store, and see if they have the product in stock" can't pre-order, can't ring in advance to hold parts, can't leave contact details so when stock is available, the store could contact me. What a horrible shopping experience!! Ikea richmond store has no oversight and is extremely disorganized. We just wanted to buy a footstool. They only had two kinds on their million sqft showroom. so after some guess work we purchased one and were told we had to pick up the pieces at different locations. I ordered an item from IKEA to be delivered. An email stated that the delivery company would call me the night before to inform me of the four hour delivery window. A call came 30 minutes before they called again and said no one was there.
