Ikea lies about its surveillance in its parking lots. Don't be fooled by those signs that tell you "For you safety this area is being monitored." Those assurances ar intentionally misleading to make you feel safe and are false. There are no video cameras and there is no protection for customers relying on this promise of security for themselves, their kids, their cars and their belongings. ... Read more

I ordered 1 center table and 2 side tables along one more item for kids with Ikea. After a week I received a mail that the order has been shipped and will receive by Tuesday [10/6/2014] as per tracking number of FedEx. I too have never taken the time to write a review, but my current situation needs to be told so that hopefully someone can avoid this same hassle. I paid for next day delivery service on October 5th, the reciept and delivery confirmation printout stated that my delivery would be in route on the 6th from 5-9. I usually do not take the time to make complaints, however this one certainly warrants one. I paid for home delivery of a very large wardrobe yesterday, all in all spending just under $1000.00. The reason I paid for home delivery was because the unit was much too big and heavy for one person to carry. Same old story. Missing pieces and no customer service after the sale. I schlepped to IKEA in Brooklyn with no car; I bought several pieces of furniture including a couch. I have chosen a LAGAN faucet (catalog number 100.850.27)from IKEA calalog, which stated that its price was 69 SR. When I went to buy it from IKEA- Jeddah, the cashier asked for 99 SR. Store is poorly laid out and no one seems to know where anything is. The shopping baskets are a workout in itself trying to push them around.
